Changing the protocol on an established D-channel using Element manager

Enter the password.
To access LD 22, enter: LD 22
Determine the MSDL which hosts the D-Channel to be changed.
At the prompt, enter: prt
System response: TYPE
Enter: adan dch x
Where x is the D-Channel number
System response: MG_CARD x y z
Where x = loop, y = shelf, z = card
Enter: End
Access LD 96 and enter the command: LD 96
Enter: dis msdl x y z all
Where x, y, and z are the values returned in LD 22
Exit LD 96.
Make the required changed to the D-Channel in LD 17.
Access LD 96 and enter:
enl msdl x y z all
Where x, y, and z are the values returned in LD 22
Action
Log on to Element Manager.
In the sidebar, click on the Routes and Trunks » D-Channels
link.
The D-Channel property page appears.
Click on the EDIT button beside the D-Channel you want to
change.
The property page for the D-channel appears.
Note the Media Gateway Card (MG_CARD) value.
Return to the Routes and Trunks » D-Channels page.
Click the MSDL Diagnostics (LD 96) link.
The MSDL Diagnostics page appears.
