The selected initial print speed reduction level in copies-per-minute (CPM) is applied only when printing
starts (for approximately 15 to 20 seconds).
This helps improve throughput if the fusing temperature can be kept constant. However, the throughput
may decrease in an environment in which the temperature varies.
