2.5 Derating
Derating as a function of the ambient temperature
If the Power Modules are operated at ambient temperatures > 40 °C, you must reduce the
maximum possible output current as follows:

The maximum permissible ambient temperature for all Power Modules is 60 °C.
Derating as a function of the pulse frequency
If the Power Modules are operated at a pulse frequency that is above the rated pulse
frequency, you must reduce the maximum possible output current as follows: You will find
the rated pulse frequency in the Technical Data of the relevant Power Module.
