Understanding OC Screen 5: Maintaining Application
Groups (qualifier APPGRP)
This screen is used to create a new user-defined application group, or to delete a
previously-defined group.
The screen shows all three standard application groups (REG, FIN and SCR), as well
as details of any user-defined groups which already exist.
The three standard groups cannot be deleted.
Action
Enter D alongside any application groups that you want to delete. This will also
unlink any applications which were linked to the deleted group.
Description
This free text field describes the user-defined group. This description can be changed
simply by overtyping.
New App. Group Name
If you wish to create a new user-defined application group, type its name in this field
(max. 8 characters). This name must be unique.
New App. Group Description
Type the description of the new user-defined application group in this field.
