dot1as timeout sync

Use this command to configure the number of sync intervals expiries with no
received announce message in which case the master is considered to be no
longer transmitting. Use the no form of the command to return the sync-
expiries to the default.
Syntax
dot1as timeout sync expiries
no dot1as timeout announce
Default Configuration
By default, the number of expiries is set to 3.

IEEE 802.1AS must also be enabled globally as well as on an interface to
become operational.

Introduced in version 6.2.0.1 firmware.
Example
This example configures interface Gi1/0/4 to delay expiring the master clock,
if found, for up to 5 sync intervals.

console(config-if-Gi1/0/4)#show dot1as interface gi1/0/4
