You have two options for the Control Unit power supply:
Supply from the Power Module.
•
The sum of all of the currents of the following interfaces is limited to 0.8 A:
–
Encoder power supply
–
DRIVE-CLiQ
–
Power supply for the Operator Panel
–
Analog outputs
–
24 V output voltage (terminal 9)
–
24 V PROFIBUS teleservice
–
Resolver excitation
If a short-circuit occurs at the output terminals when the CU is fully loaded, then
the Power Module overcurrent protection acts, and the inverter is tripped with
overcurrent (Power Module and Control Unit).
External supply via terminals 31 and 32 with 20.4 ... 28.8 VDC.
•
Use a power supply with protective extra low voltage (PELV according to EN
61800-5-1), Class 2.
The 0 V of the power supply must be connected to the PE of the plant/system
through a low-ohmic connection.
The power supply is electrically isolated from the other terminal strip.
max. 2 A
12.0 W
With RS485 interface for the
following protocols:
USS
•
Modbus RTU
•
With PROFIBUS interface
With RJ45 connector for the
following fieldbuses:
PROFINET
•
EtherNet/IP
•
With CANopen interface
plus the power loss of all output voltages
