Mechanism

Waste Toner Bottle Set Detection

The waste toner bottle set sensor is at the rear of the waste toner bottle.
If the waste toner bottle is not set, this switch is OFF, so imaging is prohibited, and "Waste toner bottle is
not set. Please contact service department." is displayed on the control panel.

Waste Toner Drive

Driven by the "PCU motor: Black / ITB drive motor".

Waste Toner Recovery Path (PCU/Image Transfer Unit)

Waste toner from the PCU and Image transfer unit is collected in the transport path at the front of the
machine, and arrives at the entrance to the waste toner tank.
