Setting DENSITY(ADF)
Adjust the copy image density level when optional Automatic Document Feeder is
installed. This setting varies the gamma curve setting according to the type of
originals frequently used.
Setting
MODE 1 When the standard original (text original) is used.
MODE 2 To give better reproduction of a faint original.
1. Press the Utility key 2 times then the display appears
the message "COPY SETTING".
2. Press "4" from the Numeric keys. The following
message appears briefly to confirm your selection.
3. Press

key to select Mode 1 or Mode 2 as
the default setting.
Then press the Yes key.
4. Press the No/Clear key to restore the initial state.
