How To Make Copies
NOTE:
• The maximum number of originals that can be loaded is 50 pages.
• Make sure that the top level of the stack does not exceed the
• Be sure to place the original document as shown in the diagram (step 2).
• Adjust the Document Guide Plates so that they make contact with the sides of
the stack. The stack may not feed properly if the Document Guide Plates do
not secure the stack in place.

Using the Plate Scanning

1) For General Documents----when setting documents of plain or thick paper types.
1. Open the cover. Place the document onto the
original glass with the side you wish to copy facing
down.
2. Align the left rear corner of the original document
with the scale marker.
3. Gently close the cover.
NOTE:
• When copying larger documents that are bound together, such as the pages
of a book, do not close the cover of the machine.
• Do not place documents that exceed 3kg onto the Original Glass. Do not lean
heavily upon original documents, once they have been placed on top of the
Original Glass as damage may result.
• A bright beam of light will be emitted through the Original Glass during
operation.
2)For Transparent Documents----when setting documents that are on OHP
transparencies.
