2. Install:
•
Brake pads
•
Pad spring
Installation steps:
•
Connect a suitable hose 1 tightly to the caliper
bleed screw 2. Put the other end of this hose into
an open container.
•
Loosen the caliper bleed screw and push the
SCH4610
pistons into the caliper with your finger.
•
Tighten the caliper bleed screw 2.
Bleed screw 2:
•
Install the brake pads and pad spring.
3. Inspect:
•
Brake fluid level
Refer to "BRAKE FLUID LEVEL INSPECTION"
in CHAPTER 2.
4. Check:
•
Brake lever operation
A soft or spongy feeling → Bleed brake sys-
tem.
Refer to "AIR BLEEDING (HYDRAULIC
BRAKE SYSTEM)" in CHAPTER 2.
