Web Functions

With a Web browser, the following Printer functions are remotely operated from a
host computer.
To operate these functions, the IP address of the Printer must be set in advance.
Also, Cookies and JavaScript must be enabled in the Web browser. For the setting
method, see Help in the host computer's browser (or operating system).
‹ Functions
(1) Printer status display function
Enables the Printer status to be checked on the host computer's screen.
With this function, the Printer's job progress and error status are checked remotely.
(2) Setup browsing and changing function
Enables settings on the Printer, such as the print parameters, to be browsed or
edited on the host computer's screen.
(3) Job control function
Enables detailed job information to be checked on the host computer's screen. Also
enables the finished print job to be reprinted.
(4) Remote maintenance function
Enables the job history and past error history to be checked if a problem occurs.
Also enables the system firmware to be updated.
(5) User registration function
Enables user registration when user authentication is used.
(6) Submission destination preset function
Enables presetting of submission destinations for image submission and printer
submission. When presetting using Web functions, submission destination names
can be registered in multiple languages. Preset submission destinations can be
used as PDtF submission destinations as well.
(7) Image browsing, acquisition, and deletion in the submission box
Enables the browsing, acquisition, and deletion of image data stored in the
submission box of the Printer.
