Staple unit cable removal

Note: Make sure that the staple carriage is in the service position. Before turning off the printer, enter the
Diagnostics menu, and then navigate to Output device diagnostics > Motor tests > Finisher > Staple unit,
service position.

Remove the multiposition stapler assembly. See

Cut the cable tie (A), and then disconnect the two cables (B).
Installation warning: Replace the cable tie, or the cables may interfere with moving parts.
