Utility mode
Check that the vertical position of the punched holes was adjusted.
If more adjustment is necessary, repeat steps 6 through 9.
Note
Set the value by mm. Refer to the conversion rate below.

Punch Unit Vertical Position Adjustment

The vertical position of punched holes when printing with a Punch setting can be adjusted for each paper
size.
Note
[Punch Unit Vertical Position Adjustment] appears only if optional Z folding unit is installed.
For details on the Punch settings, refer to

Before making any adjustments, use a Punch setting to print a sample copy. Perform the adjustment
while checking the sample that was created.

Display the Administrator Settings screen.

Touch [1 System Settings].
The System Settings screen appears.

Touch [7 Expert Adjustment].
The Expert Adjustment screen appears.

Touch [5 Finisher Adjustment].
The Finisher Adjustment screen appears.

Touch [4 Punch Unit Vertical Position Adjustment].
The Punch Unit Vertical Position screen appears.

Touch the button for the paper size to be adjusted.
If the paper size to be adjusted is not displayed, touch [↑] and [↓] until the desired paper size is
displayed.

Check the sample copy for the punch positions and for the center of the paper.
If the punch positions are too far above the center of the paper, touch [+] under "Adjust Value" to
increase the adjustment (between 0.1 mm and 5.0 mm).
