6.11.2 CHECKING THE LIGHT RELAY

To check the relay (1):
Remove the front fairing, see 7.1.20 (REMOVING THE
FRONT FAIRING).
Remove the relay in question.
Power the two male terminals (85-86) with a voltage of
12 V.
Use a tester (in ohm meter mode) to check the
continuity between the other two terminals (87-30).
Correct value with relay energized: 0 Ω
Correct value with relay not energized: ∞ Ω
If the values do not match those indicated, replace
the relay in question.
