Insufficient coolant in the cooling system, system
leaking
Coolant does not meet specifications
Radiator dirty or coolant hose clogged
Air in the cooling system
Cooling fan motor faulty
Coolant pump or coolant pump control drive faulty
Not enough oil in the system
Oil pump or oil pump control faulty, or oil circuit
clogged
Motor oil does not meet specifications
Intake coupling or intake system leaking
Faulty injector
Faulty head gasket
Clutch diaphragm leaking
Valve stem gaskets worn
Valve stems or valve guides worn
Scratches or grooves on the cylinder wall
Piston rings or cylinder worn
Head gasket leaking
Engine fastening loose
Bearing or bearing housing worn
Incorrect balanceshaft timing
Not enough oil in the system
Oil does not meet specifications
Faulty oil pressure sensor
