1.7 IDENTIFICATION DATA

Please supply the frame number when you purchase
spare parts.
NOTE
Do not obliterate or alter the identification
numbers under any circumstance.
This is illegal in all countries.
In addition, alteration of the identification numbers
invalidates the warranty.
1.7.1 VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER (V.I.N.)

(FRAME NUMBER)

Every vehicle produced by aprilia receives a vehicle
identification number (V.I.N.) stamped:
- on the steering head of the frame (A), as shown above;
and also:
- on the identification plate (B) which is located on the
front portion near the steering head of the frame.
1.7.2 INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THE VEHICLE
IDENTIFICATION NUMBER
Description of the vehicle identification number (V.I.N.),
stamped on the steering head of the frame (A) and on the
identification plate (B).
