Toner Supply Control Modes

This machine uses 3 toner supply modes. The mode used
depends on SP3-044-001 to -004
PID control mode
•
Uses the TD sensor, ID sensor, and pixel count.
•
VTREF is adjusted by process control.
•
This is the default mode.
Proportional control mode
•
Used if the ID sensor malfunctions.
•
Uses only the TD sensor.
•
VTREF is fixed at the value stored in SP3-222-001 to –004.
Fixed supply mode
•
Used if the TD sensor malfunctions.
•
The amount of toner supply depends on SP3-401-001 to –004.
