How Process Speed Affects Toner Supply Control
The development motor speed depends on the
process speed, and the development motor also
drives the toner supply mechanism. If the motor
is running faster, the toner supply clutch will not
have to turn on as many times, because the
required amount of toner will be supplied faster
when the clutch is on.
Process speed does not affect the amount of
toner to be supplied, but the number of times the
clutch needs to turn on.
