Restrictions in Use with the M-48 at
96kHz
When the sampling rate is set at 96 kHz, the number of audio
channel that a REAC slave device present at the REAC port where
the M-48 is connected can send to the M-5000 is 32. Sending more
than 32 channels produces noise.
(Because of the M-48's control signals, obtaining a band on
100BASE-TX ample enough for the REAC slave device to send 40
audio channels at 96 kHz is not possible.)
