CYLINDER HEAD
(_) 1. Remove:
• Valve covers (Intake/Exhaust) (_
® Rocker arm shafts (Intake/Exhaust) (_

...... / / Use the Slide Hammer Set (YU-01083)
® Rocker arms (Intake/Exhaust) @
2. Remove:
o Stopper plate (_
• Camshaft ® and camshaft bearing ®
Use the Slide Hammer Set (YU-01083).
3. Attach:
__ e Adapter (YM-4108) (_
o Valve Spring Compressor (YM-04019) ®
___ 4, Remove:
• Valve retainers (_
Use Magneto or Tweezers.
-_ • Valve spring seat (Upper) (_
I _______ __ • Valve spring ®
• Valve spring seat (Lower) (_
® Oil seal ®
o Valve ®
NOTE:
Deburr (_ any deformed valve stem ® end. Use
an oil stone to smooth the stem end.
5. Eliminate:
® Carbon deposit
(_) Use rouded scraper.
NOTE:
Do not a sharp instrument and avoid damaging
or scratching:
® Spark plug threads
® Valve seat
® Cylinder head
