FUEL LEVEL ADJUSTMENT
NOTE:

1. Measure:
® Fuel level (_
Out of specification _ Adjust.
t .... Measurement steps:
l__ ® Place the scooter on a level surface.
_ _' _" • Use a garage jack under the engine to
ensure that the carburetor is positioned
vertically.
e Connect the Fuel Level Gauge (_ (YM-
01312) to the drain nozzle (_).
• Loosen the drain screw (_ and start the
engine.
• Measure the fuel level.
Fuel Level:
Below the carburetor body
4.5_ 5.5 mm (0.18 _ 0.22 in)
ll_l e If the fuel level is incorrect, adjust the fuel
level.

2. Adjust:
(_ _ • Fuel level
By the following steps.
Adjustment steps:
f _ ® Remove the carburetor.
® Adjust float level by bending the float tang
(_ slightly.
_-J ® Recheck the fuel level.
