CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM
Adjustment
Adjust the nut so that the actuator cable free play is as
shown when the cable is pressed lightly.
Cable play on both the cruise actuator side and
throttle body side: 1.0—5.0 mm {0.04—0.19 in}

TRANSAXLE RANGE SWITCH (ATX)

Inspection
1. Remove the air cleaner housing assembly, the fresh-air
duct, and the resonance chamber.
(Refer to the 1996 626/MX-6 Workshop Manual, section F.)
. Disconnect the transaxle range switch connector.

3. Check for continuity between terminals B and H (KL) or
E and F (FS-ATX) of the transaxle range switch.

4. If not as specified, adjust or replace the transaxle range
switch.
