1. Remove the switch panel.
(Refer to the 1996 626/MX-6 Workshop Manual, section S.)
2. Measure the voltage at each terminal of the heater con
trol unit connectors and fan switch connector.
3. If the measurement voltage is incorrect, check the relat
ed components and wiring harnesses. If the related
components and wiring harness are OK, replace the
heater control unit.
