Refer to the following to assess the AP-7131's current power state. Once known determine
how available power resources are applied to the access point's radios.
Power Status
Power Configuration
Refer to this field to assess the power available to the access point.
This read-only value is critical, as 12.95 watts of available power
is a determining factor in selecting the Power Configuration option.
When the AP-7131 is powered on for the first time, the system
determines the power budget available to the access point. Using
Automatic
the
setting (default setting), the access point
automatically determines the best power configuration based on
the available power budget.
IEEE802.af
If
is selected, the AP is configured assuming 15.4
watts are available. When selected, the access point continuously
assumes 15.4 watts are available.
If a change in the Power Configuration mode is made, the access
point will require a reset to implement the new mode.
