Before contacting technical support, please have the following
information available:
♦ The Operating System (OS) version of your handheld
computer. (Tap on the 'System Info' menu item in the
Application Launcher).
♦ The exact text of any error messages displayed on the screen.
♦ Which 3rd-party applications have been installed on your
handheld computer.
♦ What application or action you were performing when the
problem occurred.
♦ If you are having problems with a CompactFlash (CF) or
Secure Digital (SD) card, the manufacturer's name and the size
of the card.
If you are having HotSync problems, please provide this additional
information:
♦ What type of HotSync connection you are attempting -- serial
cradle, modem, USB, or IR.
♦ What computer you are currently using, including the
manufacturer, model, type (desktop or notebook), OS version,
and if it is a stand alone or networked computer.
♦ What other serial devices are connected to the desktop
computer, such as other handheld devices, digital cameras,
mice, and scanners.
