Chapter 7: Frequently Asked Questions

If you encounter a problem with your HandEra handheld, try the
suggestions in this section or in the Help Notes files installed with
your Palm Desktop software.
If you are still having problems, contact Technical Support. For US
and international telephone numbers, refer to the Technical Support
information supplied with your handheld or go to www.handera.com.

Why don't I see anything on the screen?

♦ Press the Application icon to ensure your unit is
turned on.
♦ Refer to Chapter 2, Adjusting the Contrast.
♦ Make sure the batteries are fresh and properly installed.
♦ Perform a soft reset. Refer to Performing a Soft Reset on
page 7-15.
♦ If your unit still does not turn on, perform a hard reset. Refer to
Performing a Hard Reset on page 7-15.
Caution:
