Third-Party Applications

When selecting a third-party application, first look for any mention
that the software supports the HandEra 330's QVGA high-resolution
screen. If there is no mention that an application is low or high-
resolution, then in all likelihood it is low-resolution. Your handheld
supports most low-resolution applications, but high-resolution
applications provide you with the best look and performance.
Screen Problems and Incompatible Third-Party
Applications
Some low-resolution applications are incompatible with the current
generation of Palm Powered devices. Such applications may appear
garbled or corrupted on the display. These applications were
developed for previous generations of Palm Powered devices, which
had less memory and processing power. Developers would create
applications that were hardware-dependent, geared for one specific
unit. Unfortunately, such applications have become incompatible
over time.

Methods for Handling Incompatible Applications

To handle incompatible applications, you may have to upgrade the
application or run the application in a different Compatibility Mode.
Determining an Application's Version

version of the application.
