Chapter 6: Add-On Applications and
Databases
Several applications come pre-installed on your HandEra handheld,
including Address Book, Date Book, To Do List, and Memo Pad.
Additional applications can be installed on your handheld. Your
HandEra 330 supports thousands of third-party applications
developed for Palm Powered devices.
There are three methods for installing add-on applications and
databases – via HotSync, one of the expansion slots, or the IR Port.

Installing via HotSync

Copy or download the application you want to install into the Add-
on folder in your Palm Desktop directory on your computer. If the
application is compressed, expand it into the Add-on folder in your
Palm Desktop directory
Double-click the Palm Desktop icon on your desktop.
