If you want to transfer the exported data to another user name:
Select the second user name in Palm Desktop.

Creating a Copy of the Backup Folder

By default, the Palm Desktop creates a folder on the local hard drive
(C:) named Palm. This Palm folder contains a folder associated with
your handheld, specific to a user name. (Sometimes this folder's
name is a truncated version of the actual user name.).
Within this user name folder is another folder called Backup.
Backup is created and modified when you HotSync. If you wish to
reinstall the Palm Desktop on another PC, you will need to bring
along copies of the files in the Backup folder as well.

Custom HotSync

If you have had to hard reset your handheld or have had a power
failure resulting in lost data, you may need to restore your data via a
custom HotSync operation.
To set up a Custom HotSync to have the Palm Desktop overwrite the
handheld:
Open the Palm Desktop.
