For Standard Motorola 800/900/Splinter Systems

Splinter - analog 800Mhz systems with frequencies between 866-869 MHz.
Rebanded - 851-854 MHz ending with 0 instead of 5 e.g. 852.1250, not 852.1375.
Scroll to 'Edit Band Plan' and press E/

Scroll to '800/900 Standard' or '800 Splinter' and press E/
normal Motorola band plan and return to the menu.

For Custom (rebanded) Motorola/VHF/UHF Systems

This settings lets you create a custom band plan. Custom band plans require that you enter both a
lower and an upper base frequency value. The lower base frequency (or base) is always the base
frequency as provided in the Radio Reference Database.
Follow the instructions and use the spreadsheet at http://info.uniden.com/UnidenMan4/
CalculatingUpperBaseFrequencies to determine the upper base frequency value.

Scroll to 'Edit Band Plan' and press E/

At 'Select Plan' scroll to 'Band Plan 1-6' and press E/

At 'Set Base Freq' press E/
4.
At 'Input Lower' enter the lower base frequency and press E/
At 'Input Upper' enter the upper base frequency and press E/

Scroll to 'Set Offset' and press E/
7.
At 'Input Offset' enter the offset and press E/
8.
At 'Select Polarity' scroll to + or - and press E/
Scroll to 'Set Spacing and press E/
9.
10.
Scroll to the step size and press E/
11.
Press MENU to return and repeat for each band plan as needed. Press MENU to return.
For Standard Motorola 800 MHz rebanded systems you need to set Band Plan 1 and Band Plan 2
as follows:

Set Site Type (EDACS only) this is where you select a Wideband or Narrowband EDACS site.

Scroll to 'Wide (Standard)' or 'Narrow' and press E/
Note: EDACS Wide is the same as EDACS Standard and uses a 9600 baud control channel.
EDACS Narrow-band sites use a 4800 baud control channel.
Set Frequencies this is where you program or change the trunking frequencies, delete
frequencies, or lock them out.
Scroll to 'Set Frequencies' and press E/
