The Output is intended to synchronise other equipment to Elgar
Wordclock
Plus. In Master mode, it outputs a fixed frequency master clock, at 44.1kS/s, for
other equipment to lock to. It is disabled in slave or sync modes. See the
menu on page 21.
There is no data on this interface. Use with 75 ohm co-axial cables designed for
digital audio or RF use.
The Software Upgrade Connector is intended to be used by dCS service agents
to load new software into Elgar Plus.
Do not connect any other equipment to the SUC connector as this may
damage both Elgar Plus and the equipment so connected. Do not operate
Elgar Plus with a PC connected. Failure to observe this warning will void
the unit's warranty, and may cause unpleasant effects in your system.
Use with a 3 - pin IEC type power cable.
Replace only with a 20 x 5mm 0.5A T HRC fuse. Please see page
replacement details.
The rear panel displays the following information about the unit:

Supply voltage setting, frequency range and rated power.
•
Model: dCS Elgar Plus
•
The short form of the unit serial number.
We will need the serial number (preferably the full serial number from the menu)
to give you support over the phone, or to ship you software updates.
