This appendix provides a list of information you should have before
contacting Quantum or a backup software vendor for technical support.
Before contacting technical support, please have the following
information ready:
• Model number for your ValueLoader
• Serial number
• Media type and format
• Recent error codes
• Revision number for ValueLoader and tape drive firmware
• Brand and model of your host computer
• Brand and model of your SCSI host adapter
• ValueLoader drivers and backup software that you are using and the
version number(s)
