Releasing the lever stops the jet of fluid
while the blades continue to wipe for a
short time.
Do not start the windscreen washer
during the cold months until the

windscreen has warmed up. If it has
not warmed up, the liquid could
freeze on the glass and block the
view.

Headlight washer (optional)
The headlight washer is activated
automatically when the windscreen
washer is operated and the low beams are
on.
The headlight washer and windscreen
washer share the same fluid tank, and a
low fluid level is indicated by the relative
warning light on the TFT display.
Rain sensor
The rain sensor automatically adjusts the
windscreen wiper timing to the intensity
of the rain during intermittent operation.
All functions controlled by the right-hand
lever are unaffected.
The rain sensor automatically activates
when the right-hand lever is moved to
AUTO, and it has a range of adjustment
which runs from "wiper stationary" (when
the windscreen is dry) to "fast continuous
operation" (with heavy rain).
To regulate the frequency of intermittent
operation, with the lever at AUTO, turn
the control C.
