MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE

The chart indicates the intervals between
periodic services in miles, kilometers and
months. At the end of each interval, be sure
to inspect, check, lubricate and service as
instructed. If your motorcycle is used under
high stress conditions such as continuous
full throttle operation, or is operated in a
dusty climate, certain services should be
performed more often to ensure reliability of
the machine as explained in the mainte-
nance section. Your Suzuki dealer can pro-
vide you with further guidelines. Steering
components, suspensions and wheel com-
ponents are key items and require very spe-
cial and careful servicing. For maximum
safety we suggest that you have these items
inspected and serviced by your authorized
Suzuki dealer or
mechanic.

Always follow the inspection and mainte-
nance recommendations and schedules
in this owner's manual. Ask your SUZUKI
dealer or a qualified mechanic to do the
maintenance items marked with an
asterisk (*). You may perform the
unmarked maintenance items by refer-
ring to the instructions in this section, if
you have mechanical experience. If you
are not sure how to do any of the jobs,
have your SUZUKI dealer or a qualified
mechanic do them.
