MOTORCYCLE CLEANING

Washing the Motorcycle

When washing the motorcycle, follow the
instruction below:
1. Remove dirt and mud from the motorcy-
cle with running water. You may use a
soft sponge or brush. Do not use hard
materials which can scratch the paint.
2. Wash the entire motorcycle with a mild
detergent or car wash soap using a
sponge or soft cloth. The sponge or cloth
should be frequently soaked in the soap
solution.
CAUTION
Radiator fins can be damaged by spray-
ing high pressure water on them.
Do not spray high pressure water on the
radiator fins.
NOTE: Avoid spraying or allowing water to
flow over the following places:
• Ignition switch
• Spark plugs
• Fuel tank cap
• Fuel injection system
• Brake master cylinders
• Clutch master cylinder
