For extended life of your motorcycle, lubri-
cate according to "LUBRICATION POINTS"
section.
 WARNING
Wet brakes can cause poor braking per-
formance and may lead to an accident.
Avoid a possible accident by expecting
longer stopping distances after washing
your motorcycle. Apply brakes several
times to let heat dry the brake pads or
shoes.
Follow the procedures in the "INSPECTION
BEFORE RIDING" section to check your
motorcycle for any problems that may have
arisen during your last ride.
