If your FTP client does not allow you to have a destination filename different than the source,
you will need to rename them as the AAM only recognizes "config-0" and "ras". Be sure you
keep unaltered copies of the files for later use.
The following table is a summary. Please note that the internal filename refers to the filename
on the AAM and the external filename refers to the filename not on the AAM, that is, on your
computer, local network or FTP site and so the name (but not the extension) may vary. After
uploading new firmware, use the

32.3 Editable Configuration File

The configuration file can be downloaded as a plain-text (ASCII) file. Edits to the
configuration can be made to this file before it is uploaded again to the AAM.
Note: You can change the ".dat" file to a ".txt" file and still upload it to the AAM.

32.3.1 Editable Configuration File Backup

Configure your system, and then use FTP to backup the plain-text configuration file onto your
computer. Do the following to backup the configuration file:
Use an FTP client to connect to the AAM.
C:\> ftp <AAM IP address>
Enter the User name (just press [ENTER]).
User: [ENTER]
Enter the management password (1234 by default).
Password: 1234
