10. Slide ( 2 ) the SMP Expansion Module away from the center plane slightly,

7. Remove the EMC shield from the server.
a. If necessary, disconnect the SMP Expansion cables that are connected to
the SMP Expansion Modules.
b. Loosen the blue thumbscrews holding the EMC shield to the server.
c. Remove the EMC shield from the rear of the server.
8. Grasp each of the locking levers ( 1 ) on the top of the SMP Expansion
Module, and lift them up slightly.
9. Working from the right side of the server, rotate the two locking levers ( 1 )
toward you until they are fully extended, as shown.

Attention: When removing the SMP Expansion Module from the server, lift it
out carefully, taking care not to damage the components on the center plane.
