Manage Failover
A GlobalScan Server that has been activated with an "03" (primary) Activation Key or
"04" (secondary) Activation Key will display "Manage Failover" as an additional menu
link on the GlobalScan Admin Module.
.
Primary Server
If an MFD cannot submit a job to the primary GlobalScan Server, the system will
revert to Failover mode with the secondary server processing jobs until the primary
server is restored (provided the secondary server has been properly configured).
Note: Logical failures to submit a job, e.g., the user enters an invalid user name/password, Plug-ins are
not properly installed, or a Plug-in server goes down, will not cause Failover.
To access the Failover status/configuration screen on the primary GlobalScan Server,
