Troubleshooting for charging error

„ Troubleshooting for charging error
External (SM-BCR1 / SM-BTR1)
Built-in (SM-BCR2 / SM-BTR2)
• Make sure that only one unit of SM-BCR2 is connected to a PC.
• If the ERROR indicator blinks, the ambient temperature during charging may have fallen outside
the operating temperature limits. Check that the temperature is appropriate.
• If the CHARGE indicator blinks, refer to the following.
The current capacity of your AC adapter with a USB port is lower than 1.0 Adc.
Use an AC adapter with a USB port with a current capacity equal to or higher than 1.0 Adc.
A USB hub is used to connect to PC.
Remove the USB hub.
If none of the above applies, the battery or junction may be faulty.
Remove the battery from the battery
charger, disconnect the plug from the
electrical outlet, and then repeat the
charging operation.
If charging cannot be carried out even
after the above steps are taken, the

ambient temperature may be too low or
too high, or there may be a problem
with the battery.

If charging is not possible, the
ERROR indicator on the Battery
charger will flash.

NOTE
If the CHARGE indicator does not light up or
extinguishes quickly, the battery may be fully
charged. Check the remaining power of the
battery using junction (A) or the system
information display.
If the battery is low or dead, contact the place
of purchase or a bicycle dealer.
If it becomes impossible to charge, the
CHARGE indicator (orange) or ERROR
indicator of the battery charger will blink.
