Adjusting rear derailleur friction

The friction amount can be adjusted as desired. It may also be adjusted if the friction changes during use.
Friction adjustment

Move the lever switch to the ON position.

Remove the plate unit cap (A) by hand as
shown in the illustration.
Turn the friction adjustment bolt (B) with
an Allen key (C) to adjust the friction.

Insert an Allen key or Hexalobular
wrench into the left plate (D) and check
the friction torque.

Check the shape of the hole and use a tool
