Squeeze the tabs on both sides of the plastic
cavity cover and remove it from the meter.
Discard the cavity cover.

Remove the scanner module and new battery
door from the packaging.
CAUTION:
Do not remove the white protective label.

Position the scanner module so that the pins
on the module are aligned with the connectors
inside the meter. Push the module into the
meter until it snaps into place.
