Z Temperature: In programming mode on the IMPRESSA you
can adjust the temperature of the coffee specialities. The tem-
perature can affect the taste of the coffee and must be adapted
to suit individual tastes and the type of coffee bean.
Height-adjustable coffee spout: The height of the coffee
Z
spout can be adjusted on a continuous scale as required to
suit the size of your coffee cups. The distance between the cof-
fee spout and the edge of the cup should be as small as pos-
sible. This prevents coffee splashing on the machine and pro-
duces a fine, thick crema.
In addition remember the following barista tips:
Z Store your coffee in a dry place. Oxygen, light, heat and mois-
ture will spoil the coffee.
Z Use only fresh, cold water so that the coffee aroma can opti-
mally unfold.
Z To enjoy perfect coffee, change the water every day.
Pre-heat your cups.
Z
Z Use a teaspoon for sugar and do not use sugar lumps to
ensure that the crema or milk foam are not spoilt.

surface of the espresso.

T Place an espresso cup under the coffee spout.
