    IMPRESSA C5 – Quick Reference Guide Place a cup under the Easy-Auto-Cappuccino Frother. ä l Turn the Rotary Switch so that it points to the Steam symbol Press the Rotary Switch to confi rm your choice. The Steam symbol will continue fl ashing until the IMPRESSA has warmed up.
  • Page 4 IMPRESSA C5 – Quick Reference Guide Remove the water tank and empty it. Lift the cartridge holder and insert the fi lter cartridge into the water tank, applying a light pressure. Close the cartridge holder. It will lock into place audibly.
  • Page 5 IMPRESSA C5 – Quick Reference Guide Turn the switch in the anticlockwise direction. Rinsing of the fi lter will now begin. The light segment by the switch will light up. The water could be slightly discoloured. This is not harmful to health, nor does it affect the taste.

    IMPRESSA C5 – Quick Reference Guide Place a receptacle (containing at least 500 ml) under the Easy-Auto-Cappuccino Frother. If the milk pipe is connected, remove it. Hold down the Filter button until the Filter indicator fl ashes. The light segment by the switch will now fl ash.

  • Page 9 IMPRESSA C5 – Quick Reference Guide Completely dissolve the contents of one blister (3 JURA descaling tablets) in a container that holds 500 ml of water. This can take a few minutes. Pour the solution into the empty water tank.
