    1 Preparing and using for the first time First-time use When using the machine for the first time, you can choose whether you want to operate IMPRESSA with or without the CLEARYL Blue filter cartridge. If the water hardness is 10 °dH or more, we recom- mend using the filter cartridge.

    If there are severely dried-on milk residues, firstly immerse the individual parts in a solution of 8.5 oz (250 ml) cold water and one capful of JURA milk system cleaner. Then rinse the parts thoroughly. T  Re-assemble the fine foam frother.
