14. Disconnect the non-potable water hose
with a pressure regulator from the fl ush
system fi tting.
15. Close black and grey dump valves
when preparing for travel. Disconnect
the waste pump from the dump station
and store in water service bay.
Grey Water Bypass:
The grey water bypass system allows
continuous grey water fl ow. The liquid (grey)
waste uses gravity to drain from the tank and
bypasses the pump by going through the bypass
hose into the sewage service. The bypass hose
is the small hose connected at the termination
point of the dump valves and "T-s" into the
small fl exible hose on the outlet side of the
macerator pump.
Troubleshooting:
The chassis battery disconnect switch in
the battery compartment needs to be on
for the macerator pump to run.

TOILET - SEALAND

The toilet uses water from either
the fresh water tank or a city
water supply. The water pump
must be turned ON or connect the
motorhome to city water. The toilet
uses 12 Volt DC to fl ush. The toilet
fl ushes directly into the sewage
holding tank (black water).
Toilet with wall mount fl ush switch:
Press and hold the
switch to the Add Water
position until desired
water level is attained.
Press switch to Flush
position and release to
fl ush.
NOTE:
The toilet requires 12 Volt DC to
operate. Low voltage will cause toilet
malfunction or failure.
Manual Override:
Use the following procedure to open the fl ush
ball in the event of power failure. The fl ush ball
will not close until power is restored.
NOTE:
The flush ball will remain open until
power is restored.
Remove the cover at the top back of the
toilet.
Push the manual override lever (with red
cap) down to open the fl ush ball.

CAUTION:
To prevent accumulation of solids below
toilet, add several gallons of water to the
holding tank before use. Most chemical
mixtures for holding tank odor control
are poisonous. Follow the product
manufacturer's directions and warnings
when using any holding tank additive.
NOTE:
DO NOT dispose of sanitary supplies or

other non-dissolving items into the toilet.
Facial tissue, wet strength tissue, paper
towels or excess toilet tissue can clog the
tank or termination valve.
Cleaning & Maintenance
The toilet should be cleaned regularly for
maximum sanitation and operational effi ciency.
Clean the toilet bowl with a mild bathroom
cleaner. DO NOT use chlorine or caustic
chemicals, such as drain opening types, as they
will damage the seals.
Clean the toilet system using the tank fl ush.
If additional fl ushing is needed, fl ush with
several gallons of fresh water and one cup of
dry laundry detergent. Drain and fl ush tank
as desired. Add odor control deodorant, in the
amount specifi ed for the holding tank capacity,
every few days during use.
