3) The first attendant holds the wheelchair in a stable position so that the rear wheels are relieved in turn.
4) The 2nd attendant carefully pulls off the 1st and 2nd rear wheel in turn.
→ The wheelchair can now be pushed on the transport wheels.

5.4 Dismantling / transport

NOTICE
Inadmissible load in folded condition
Risk of deformation, problems when unfolding
► Never place heavy items on the folded wheelchair.
The wheelchair must be prepared for transport in a car.
1) Fold up the footrests.
INFORMATION On the Avantgarde CV model, the footrests can be removed, thus further reducing the packing size
(see page ).
2) Remove the seat cushion.
3) Pull up the seat cover until the wheelchair folds together (see Fig. 40).
4) Close the safety strap (see Fig. 41).
5) Insert four fingers between the spokes of the rear wheel and press the knob of the quick-release axle with your
thumb. Pull off the rear wheel outwards (see Fig. 42).
