Operation panel part names

From the operation panel on the front of the sewing machine, various stitch settings can be selected.
1 LED display
This displays the number of the selected stitch in addition to the selected settings and sewing speed. It
also displays the setting for the function LED that is lit.

(setting) buttons
These can be used to change the selected stitch and the settings.

(start/stop) button
Press to start or stop the sewing machine.

(needle up/down) button
Each press of the button raises or lowers the needle. Use this button when changing the sewing
direction or sewing intricate areas.

(function) button
Each press of the button selects one of the functions (7 through 10).
6 Function LEDs
The LED lights up to indicate the function selected with the function button. The setting can be changed
with the
(setting) buttons only for the function whose LED is lit.

Stitch number
The number of the stitch selected in utility stitching mode will be indicated.

Stitch width
The width of the selected stitch can be changed.

Stitch length
The length of the selected stitch can be changed.

Sewing speed
The sewing speed can be changed. Press
sewing speed will be maintained, even if another stitch is selected.

(OEKAKI (free-motion embroidering)) button
Each press of the button selects the utility stitching mode or the OEKAKI (free-motion embroidering)
mode. The button lights up in green when the machine is in the OEKAKI mode.
