Try on the jeans, and then fold up the legs at the new
hemline, right side to right side.

Measure 4 cm up from the hemline and draw a line
with a suitable marker.

Turn the jeans inside out to the wrong side, and then
cut along the 4 cm line.

Fold up 2 cm of fabric, iron the fold line, and then fold
over another 2 cm of fabric and iron in place.
Tip
If the inside leg seam is very bulky, trim away the seam allowance in
the first 2 cm fold.
