Pass the thread up the groove next to the
thread guide plate, then through the take-up
lever from the right.

Pull the thread down through the same groove.

Pass the thread behind the needle thread
guide and to the right.
* The thread can easily be passed through the needle
thread guide by holding the thread in your left hand, then
feeding the thread with your right hand, as shown.
